What product fields can be printed?

Currently, the elements that ProductPrint Pro will print are:

Featured Image, Product Description, Product attributes, Stock Level, SKU, Price (including sale price), Product short description, Gallery of Images, Reviews.

All of the above are product fields. In addition, ProductPrint Pro gives you the option to add a tailored header image, header text, footer text and footer image to the print-out, to enable you to create a nicely branded document with all the information your customers require. This extra information is on a store-basis not per product.

No other product fields will be printed, but we may add more in later releases if there is a demand.

I need to print to PDF – how about that?

You can. Just about every browser your store visitors are likely to be using has a ‘Print to file’ or ‘Print to PDF’ function built-in. This is accessed from the print dialog. So there really is little need to add this extra complexity to the plug-in.

What about product variations?

The print-out will show the selected variation, if one has been selected. The featured image, price and SKU will reflect the selected variation.

 

Can I tailor the print-out?

Yes you have a lot of options to tailor the print out the way you’d like it to be.

 

I want to adjust the position of the print button.

You have a selection of positions on the single product page for the print button. Just select what looks best for you, from the dashboard settings.  You can also adjust all four margin areas separately, again from the dashboard, so no need to modify the css.

 

Can it be translated ?

Yes. ProductPrint Pro is translation-ready. You can change the text on the Print button yourself from the dashboard settings.  The  print-out headings will match those on screen, so if you have set WooCommerce to another language, your print-out’s headings will follow. If you also want the dashboard admin settings to be translated, then the plug-in codestyling-localization offers an easy way to get the plug-in translated, or you can use PoEdit.

 

What support is available?

If your license is active you can access our support forum at http://www.togethernet.ltd.uk/togethernet-support/forum/productprint-pro-support/. You will also be entitled to free updates all the time that your license is active. If you wish to get support after one year, you must renew your license key or purchase a new license for the extension you wish to get support for.

 

Is this product being actively developed? Would I be able to get the updates?

It is being actively developed and maintained. A valid and active license key is required in order to get automatic upgrades for purchased products. Updates are included for free for one year. If you have a valid and active license key,  updates will be delivered automatically from the WordPress dashboard.

If you choose not to renew your licence, you can still keep on using the plug-in for as long as you like. But you won’t get the updates.

 

Does it work with any theme?

ProductPrint Pro relies upon WooCommerce hooks to add the button to the single product page. If your theme replaces the single product page template, the replacement template must include the hooks. Most themes are fully compatible but some may not be. If it really cannot be made to work, get in touch within 14 days of purchase, and we can arrange a refund.

 

What about refunds?

We assume you have read and that you understand the pre-sales documentation prior to purchase. If you have problems getting ProductPrint Pro to work as described in the pre-sales documentation within 14 days of the original purchase, and neither you nor we can solve it, we will be happy to give you a full refund. Before a refund will be granted, you must allow us to try and help solve any problem you have by opening a support ticket on our support forum. NOTE: refunds will not be granted if you simply decide not to use the product.
